Sister Nivedita University is a dynamic organization with a primary focus on reaching excellence in research oriented education. As a group, we sincerely believe that India’s comparative advantage in the global economy lies in education and its assimilation with the globalization process has challenged us to offer programmes in tune with the current changing needs of the society. In order to meet these challenges, we plan to strengthen our academic curriculum and course offerings maintaining our core ethics and values. A close inspection of our programmes in respectable degrees in different disciplines to invest enormously in creating efficient professional human resources will reflect this truth.
We emphasise on squarely building on the strength we have in the academic sector to help them flourish in their future endeavours. All our core initiatives in the non academic corporate sectors have been designed to complement our academic programmes where students can find internship, practical training and job placements after graduation or in areas that allow us to vertically integrate with our strength in education. Our corporate focus has been and will be to provide quality industrial, technological and business oriented solutions to our entire team.

PRO-VICE CHANCELLOR (ACADEMICS)
Dr. Guha Majumder is a Teacher-Scholar-Administrator as she is involved in knowledge creation through research, knowledge dissemination through teaching and training, administration through institution building and through designing effective academic programs. She is skilled in nurturing the application of knowledge in industry through consultancy projects. She has acquired more than 29 years of teaching & training experience at national and international arenas. Before joining Sister Nivedita University as Pro - Vice Chancellor (Academics), she was working as a Professor & Program Head, Research & Business Analytics at Prin. L.N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Bangalore.
She pursued her undergraduate & postgraduate education from Jadavpur University, Kolkata & received her doctoral award from Bangalore University as a UGC Fellow. She has also been awarded her Diploma in Business Analytics by Harvard University, USA. Her core competencies lie in the areas of Data Visualization, Machine Learning, Optimization Analytics, Pattern Identification, Statistical Model Building. and in Natural Language Processing. She conceptualizes analytics in effective business transformation using various software including Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Power BI, R, Python, JMP, SPSS Statistics, SPSS Modeler, AMOS, JASP, Smart PLS, STATA & EViews. She has trained more than 1300 industry professionals including employees from Mercedes Benz, Infosys, KPMG, Micro Labs Ltd., Apotex Pvt. Ltd., Zydus, Siemens, Mobily Infotech, National Stock Exchange and many more in the areas of Business Analytics. She also has trained many faculty & researchers in various areas of Data Analytics & Research Methodology.
